I moved to Orlando in 1998 to pursue a career in the film industry—starting as an extra, then progressing to a stand-in, and eventually joining the Miami Local Studio Mechanics as a grip and later working in craft services. Then, in 2000, fate took another turn, and I became a Journeyman/Lead Carpenter/Labor Foreman in the convention and trade show industry, specializing in booth installations, with over 30,000 hours of floor experience. I’ve worked with Show Management and am well-suited to interact professionally at all levels.

I held a four-year position as a Safety Coordinator, performing show site safety audits as well as handling damage and insurance claims. Through this role, I demonstrated that safety is and remains “Priority One.”

In February 2022, I pivoted into the Audio Visual sector as a lead carpenter, bringing my skills from the convention industry into AV. I adapted quickly to this fast-paced environment and became familiar with various departments as an AV general technician. I’ve always had a desire to jump in where needed to fulfill the mission and meet requirements.

As a former P.I.T. (forklift) instructor, I’m accustomed to environments of both teaching and learning through the counsel of others. I live by the belief that camaraderie and teamwork make the dream work. Another philosophy I uphold not only in the workplace but in every walk of life is: “Do It Right the First Time.” I believe that self-discipline and maintaining high standards yield the best results for every task at hand.

I now bring these experiences to the Audio Visual and Live Show production industry. I take great pride in my work, and I’m able to adapt to an ever-changing environment with a positive attitude.

In 2025, I founded AFFILIANT GROUP, LLC, to pursue a freelance and traveling supervisor role with many top-rated production companies. I currently hold a P.I.T. (forklift) certification, CDL “A” FDOT, OSHA10 Certification, and CPR/AED Certification.
